Financial details

Students on the Global Distance MBA program must pay the following program fees to Maastricht School of Management (MSM)/ Open Universiteit Nederland (OUNL):
-  Application fee
-  Tuition fee

Application fee

Every applicant for the Global Distance MBA must pay to MSM/OUNL an application fee of € 75 no later than the date of submission of the application form. The application fee is non-refundable and will cover all application-processing expenses.

Tuition fee

The tuition fee for the Global Distance MBA program is € 12,900. An early-bird fee applies to those commencing the program on the starting dates until August 2009 (week 31). The early-bird fee is € 9,900.

The tuition fee includes use of the online learning environment and its electronic content, tuition, tutoring, and lectures and excursions during the four residential weeks of the program. The tuition fee excludes all other costs, such as the costs of text books and study materials, and the costs of transport, visas, travel, lodgings and living expenses during residential weeks.

Payment schedule

The tuition fee will become due and must be paid to MSM/OUNL according to the following timetable:
-  50% of the tuition fee must be paid at least 1 month prior to the student's starting date on the program
-  50% of the tuition fee must be paid at least 1 month prior to the start of the student's second year in the Global Distance MBA program.
This installment timetable also applies to the early-bird fee.

Financial assistance

Unfortunately, MSM/OUNL cannot offer any type of financial assistance to students participating in the Global Distance MBA.

Refund policies

In the event that a participant withdraws from the Global Distance MBA program after the admission letter has been sent, but prior to the start of the program, the first installment of the tuition fee will be returned with a deduction of € 300 to cover administrative costs.

Financial suspension

All academic services will be withheld from participants owing payments to MSM/OUNL. No diplomas or transcripts will be issued until outstanding fees have been paid in full.
